4 USTP STUDENTS TO JOIN INT’L LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
FOUR students from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines will participate in the 2023 Leadership Summit organized by YouthMappers.
Geodetic Engineering students Berry Sajulga Ello, June Costales, Helen B. Lumain, and Joyce Mae Callao will fly to Jamaica in January next year to attend the 10-day summit.
“They’re not only representing the USTP but the whole PH YouthMappers Community together with the Luzon and Visayas representatives,” the university said.
“This opportunity not only opens doors for these students, but an avenue for USTP to be in the spotlight of international excellence,” it added.
YouthMappers is a global community of students, researchers, educators and scholars that use public geospatial technologies to highlight and directly address development challenges worldwide.
The organization is funded by the United States Agency for International Development GeoCenter.
