2 FILMS OF PSU LINGAYEN WIN IN NCCA’S CINEMA LAMRAG
TWO short films of the Pangasinan State University Lingayen campus won in the “Cinema Lamrag” organized by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.
Led by College of Computing Sciences Dean Julio Cervantes, the winning teams showcased creativity and earned acclamation in the commission’s national video contest.
algoRHYTHM Multimedia Productions’ “Banaag” which was directed by Jenmark Manolid was the grand winner.
SFITI’s “Alpas,” directed by Jordan Rodolfo, was the fourth runner-up.
The groups were mentored by the department’s faculty members Jay Rico and Elmar Noche, respectively.
Cinema Lamrag is a national video contest designed for youth to create audio-visual materials for social media depicting positive Filipino values during the Covid19 pandemic.
Entries can either be in song/musical form, dance, drama, poetry, photography, film, visual arts, digital art or any combination of selected art forms in any Philippine language.
