The Samar State University is in need of associate and assistant professors, and instructors to help its teaching roster with the implementation of distance learning.

It said that it is in need of an Associate Professor 1 for its College of Education, who has at least a Master’s Degree in Mathematics, eight years of experience, license, and training.

An assistant professor 1 for its College of Engineering and Infrastructure and Development Services who has a master’s degree in Civil Engineering, five years of experience, license, and training is also needed.

If hired, the professors will be entitled to P48, 313, and P33, 575 monthly salaries, respectively.

It also said that it is in need of instructors for is College of Arts and Sciences, College of Industrial Technology, and Paranas Campus, in the field of Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Machine Shop Technology, Architecture, and Filipino.

While training and experience are not required, SSU said that applicants must have at least a master’s degree in their respective field, and a license – if applicable.

If hired, all the instructors will be entitled to a P 26, 052 monthly salaries.

Interested applicants must prepare an application letter, personal datasheet, and other necessary documents.

“The University encourages all interested and qualified applicants including persons with disability, regardless of civil status, religion, and those from any sexual orientation and gender identities (SOGI),” SSU said on the announcement.

The documents can be submitted to Dr. Marilyn Cardoso, University President, Samar State University, Brgy. Guidapunan, Catbalogan City until April 23, 2021.

Applicants with incomplete documents shall not be entertained, it added.
