STUDENTS AIM AT BULLY-PROOF DAVAO DEL NORTE STATE COLLEGE, LAUNCHES FESTIVAL VS BULLYING
THE DAVAO del Norte State College has launched an online festival to drum up its call against bullying.
The project dubbed “Festival of Talents for A Cause” was spearheaded by the Office of Services and Guidance and will take place from November 9 to 27, 2020.
Students can join contests like Digital Poster Making, Spoken Poetry, Tiktok Challenge, Song Rendition, and Rap Rendition and win cash prizes.
“This initiative represents the college’s stance against bullying. DNSC hopes to become a safe space for its students, a learning environment that fosters Kindness, Acceptance, and Inclusion,” DNSC said on Facebook.
“Let’s make DNSC bully-proof, bully-free,” it added.
An anti-bullying display picture frame campaign was also launched for students to show their support for the festival.
The project is in collaboration with DNSC – Institute of Aquatic and Applied Sciences, Mag Education Ta Sa DNSC, DNSC IIT, DNSC – Institute of Management, Governance and Continuing Studies, DNSC- Office of Student Services, DNSC Guidance, and Davao Reef.
