/ 25 October 2026

THE LOCAL government of Pateros has rolled out unified school uniforms for public school students to promote a common identity and foster a stronger sense of unity among learners.

Pateros Mayor Gerald German led the ceremonial distribution of the municipality’s first-ever unified school uniforms to students from kindergarten to Grade 6.

In a Facebook post, German said the initiative fulfills his long-standing goal of providing public school students with unified uniforms, turning what was once a dream into reality.

The municipal government said the program aims to strengthen camaraderie and a sense of belonging among students while supporting their education.

The distribution of uniforms will be extended to students from Grade 7 to Grade 12, with the next rollout targeted for November.

German also thanked everyone who contributed to the implementation of the program, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that taxpayers’ money is spent on projects that directly benefit the community.

Through the initiative, the municipal government hopes to promote a stronger sense of identity among public school learners while continuing to invest in programs that support their welfare and education.
