THE LOCAL government of Pantukan has expressed concern over a shooting incident that occurred outside the premises of Kolehiyo ng Pantukan on Thursday, June 25.

In a statement, the Municipal Government of Pantukan said the incident took place at around 12:25 p.m. and occurred beyond the school’s jurisdiction and campus grounds.

“Based on initial reports, the incident took place outside the school’s jurisdiction and did not occur within the campus grounds,” the statement read.

Authorities are coordinating with law enforcement agencies and other concerned offices to support the ongoing investigation and identify those responsible for the incident.

The local government said it remains committed to ensuring that those involved are held accountable in accordance with the law.

“The LGU assures the public that it is committed to extending all necessary assistance and support to the victim and his family,” it added.
