CALOOCAN CITY GOV’T LAUDS UCC GRADUATES FOR CPA LICENSURE EXAM SUCCESS

CALOOCAN CITY Mayor Along Malapitan has congratulated the newest Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) from the University of Caloocan City (UCC) following the release of the results of the May 2026 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE).

In a statement, Malapitan praised the performance of UCC graduates, noting that the university posted a 33.33% passing rate, surpassing the national passing rate of 30.83%.

“Congratulations sa ating mga bagong Certified Public Accountant mula sa University of Caloocan City!” the mayor said, expressing pride in the achievement of the city’s scholars.

The city government also recognized the new CPAs for bringing honor to Caloocan City through their strong performance in the licensure examination.

The new UCC CPAs are:

• May Ann O. Floresta
• Reggie P. Gojo Cruz
• Elezalde M. Lato
• Jovylyn C. Martin
• Maica L. Selguera
• April Joyce B. Solon
• Noelle Jean M. Virtus

Malapitan reaffirmed the city government’s continued support for local scholars, underscoring its commitment to expanding access to quality education and professional development opportunities.

“We are so proud of you!” the mayor added.

The University of Caloocan City continues to produce successful board passers, contributing to the growing pool of professionals emerging from the city’s public education system.
