SENATOR, MANILA OFFICIALS REAFFIRM COMMITMENT TO IMPROVE EDUCATION QUALITY
SENATOR Bam Aquino met with officials at Manila City Hall to reaffirm their shared commitment to improving the quality of education for students in the nation’s capital.
During the meeting, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno said discussions centered on expanding student feeding programs and continuing the rehabilitation and improvement of school facilities across the city.
The local government noted that these initiatives are part of long-standing education programs first introduced during the administration’s earlier term.
City officials also emphasized that politics should not stand in the way of programs aimed at promoting the welfare of the people, especially the youth.
The Manila city government said it remains open to partnerships, assistance, and cooperation from various sectors to further strengthen programs benefiting students, teachers, parents, and the future of young Manileños.
Aquino was also thanked for supporting the city’s education initiatives and for joining efforts to uplift the lives of “Batang Maynila.”
