SOME SCHOOLS TO HOLD ONLINE CLASSES AMID TRANSPORT STRIKE
SEVERAL colleges and universities will shift to synchronous online classes on Thursday due to transportation strike.
The University of Santo Tomas, Adamson University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, and Ateneo de Manila University announced the change on their official Facebook pages.
Ateneo de Manila University noted that faculty teaching laboratory courses or lectures requiring face-to-face interaction should evaluate their pedagogical needs. After consulting with students, faculty may decide to hold onsite classes. Special consideration is encouraged for students impacted by the strike.
The university also confirmed that facilities will remain accessible, particularly for those conducting online classes.
Meanwhile, offices at Adamson University will continue regular operations from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
