PBBM INAUGURATES LEARNING CONTINUITY SPACE IN CEBU

/ 17 March 2026

PRESIDENT Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. led the turnover and inspection of the newly constructed Learning Continuity Space (LCS) in Cebu on Monday.

The initiative comes in the aftermath of the September 2025 earthquake that affected several communities in the province.

Accompanied by Education Secretary Sonny Angara, the President visited the LCS at Marcelo B. Fernan-Polambato Elementary School in Bogo City, Cebu.

Upon arrival, President Marcos engaged with students and teachers attending classes in the modular facility. The LCS was designed to ensure uninterrupted learning even during calamities.

Each modular classroom, costing around ₱1.65 million, is built to withstand extreme conditions and can accommodate up to 40 students. Beyond education, the facility also provides primary healthcare services to support the broader community.

“The initiatives support learning continuity and provide primary healthcare services to students, teachers, and the local community,” the Presidential Communications Office said.
