PUP GRADUATE SCHOOL EARNS FULL CHED COMPLIANCE ACROSS ALL PROGRAMS

/ 18 January 2026

THE POLYTECHNIC University of the Philippines Graduate School has achieved 100 percent compliance with the Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) Certificate of Program Compliance requirements, marking a major milestone in the university’s quality assurance efforts.

The accomplishment resulted from the combined work of the Graduate School and the Quality Assurance Center, following comprehensive evaluations aligned with CHED policies, outcomes-based education standards, faculty qualifications, research benchmarks, and institutional support systems.

CHED has granted full approval to all Graduate School programs, covering the humanities, social sciences, psychology, sciences, engineering, and applied fields.

This achievement represents a significant turnaround from 2019, when only two graduate programs held valid certificates of compliance.

As of Academic Year 2024–2025, CHED-recognized offerings now include five doctoral degrees and 16 master’s programs across arts, science, and professional tracks.

University officials said full compliance strengthens stakeholder confidence, supports accreditation and internationalization initiatives, and ensures that all Iskolar ng Bayan are enrolled in quality-assured and CHED-recognized graduate programs.
