ATENEO CENTER NAMED EXEMPLARY STAKEHOLDER OF QUEZON CITY SCHOOLS

/ 10 January 2026

THE ATENEO Center for Educational Development  has been recognized as an Exemplary Stakeholder by the Quezon City Schools Division Office, honoring its long-standing and impactful partnership in advancing public education.

The distinction was conferred during the 6th Gawad Kaagapay Award Ceremony held last month at the VS Hotel and Convention Center in Quezon City.

Feeding Program Supervisor Jhoel Loanzon, together with Coordinators Ainah Hanna Dumagsa and Nelson Janoras, accepted the award on behalf of ACED’s staff, donors, school leaders, teachers, and volunteers.

Loanzon said the recognition highlights the strength of collaboration between ACED and the schools division office, reflecting their shared commitment to improving the welfare of Quezon City learners.

Since its establishment in 1997, ACED has supported public schools through programs that include principal and teacher development, medical missions, scholarships, and nutrition interventions, addressing both academic performance and student well-being.

Its flagship Food Augmentation Program currently serves over 1,600 undernourished learners from 14 public schools, providing weekly nutritious food packs sourced from Luzon farmers from July 2025 to March 2026.
