26 BATANG PINOY MEDALISTS RECEIVE CASH INCENTIVES FROM CALOOCAN LGU
THE LOCAL government of Caloocan City, led by Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan, congratulated and awarded cash incentives to 26 youth athletes who represented the city at Batang Pinoy 2025 and excelled in their respective athletics events.
Batang Pinoy is an annual sports meet for youth athletes aged 15 and below, and is known for including out-of-school youth and members of marginalized communities, giving them an opportunity to showcase their skills.
Aside from the mandatory grant provided by the city government amounting to P10,000, P7,000, and P5,000 for gold, silver, and bronze medalists, respectively, Malapitan also gave the young athletes additional cash incentives.
The local chief executive also assured young talents that his administration will continue creating opportunities to help them develop their potential in sports.
