MILLER’S LATE TRIPLES PUSH SAN BEDA PAST JRU
SAN BEDA relied on Agjanti Miller to deliver the goods in the Red Lions’ 65-56 win over Jose Rizal University at San Juan Arena on Saturday.
The Heavy Bombers were closely behind the Red Lions in the last two minutes of the game, only trailing by three points, 59-56.
Miller, though, unloaded two big triples to will San Beda to the finish line, 65-56, ultimately pushing the Red Lions to a Group B-best 8-3 record. He finished with 16 points and eight rebounds.
“I took a little step back in this game because I’ve been sick all week so this is like a first game back for me,” Miller explained.
