DLSU-D STUDENT SERVES AS PANELIST IN ASEAN YOUTH LEADERS’ ASSEMBLY 2025

A STUDENT from De La Salle University–Dasmariñas was among the selected panelists at the ASEAN Youth Leaders’ Assembly 2025.
During the session titled “Youth on the Move: Advancing Mobility, Exchange, and Regional Citizenship in ASEAN,” Froilan Villan discussed the role of civic mobility and youth-led governance in fostering regional identity and democratic participation.
He urged young leaders across Southeast Asia “to create inclusive structures that sustain collaboration, leadership, and solidarity beyond borders.”
Villan, a Political Science major and paralegal, currently serves as Office of the Country Director Associate at ASEAN Youth Advocates Network Philippines.
He is known for his commitment to good governance, civic engagement, and youth empowerment in both academic and regional settings.
