FOLLOWING the directive of the Department of Education–National Capital Region (DepEd–NCR), the Quezon City Health Department immediately conducted disinfection in public school facilities across the city.

Classes in public schools were suspended from October 13 to 14 due to reported cases of influenza-like illness and to allow inspection of buildings after a series of earthquakes were felt in parts of the country.

The city government emphasized that the safety and well-being of students remain a top priority, especially in public schools.

Residents are advised to visit the nearest health center or hospital if they experience any symptoms or illness.
