CEBU TECHNOLOGICAL U TO PARTNER WITH INDIAN UNIVERSITY

CEBU Technological University is set to strengthen its presence in India through a new partnership with Ashoka University, expanding its international reach alongside its existing collaboration with O.P. Jindal Global University.
CTU President Dr. Joseph Pepito will travel to India this November to formalize the alliance with Ashoka and reaffirm ties with OPJGU—a strategic move that underscores CTU’s dual-pronged approach to regional engagement.
The collaboration with Ashoka will include joint degree programs, academic research, and mobility opportunities for faculty and students, all aligned with CTU’s broader Indo-Pacific strategy.
Talks between Ashoka and CTU began in September when Shubhi Yadav, Ashoka’s Global Education Manager, met with Dr. Rhodora Magan, CTU’s Director for Internationalization and ASEAN Integration, to explore partnership opportunities.
Yadav, who previously collaborated with CTU during her tenure at OPJGU, is now positioned to bring earlier discussions to fruition through Ashoka’s robust international network.
CTU’s growing ties with India reflect a broader regional vision anchored in shared cultural heritage and forward-looking collaboration—placing India at the heart of the university’s Indo-Pacific academic initiatives.
