TARLAC State University has once again been recognized as one of the most outstanding accounting offices in the country for 2024 by the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines, Inc. (AGAP).

Presidential Assistant Dr. Brigido Corpuz and Executive Secretary Dr. Ronnie Dungo received the award on behalf of TSU during the 2025 AGAP Annual Convention-Seminar held earlier this week.

The recognition highlights TSU’s exemplary performance in public financial management, making it the only state university in the Philippines to receive the honor for 2024.

TSU President Dr. Arnold Velasco said the award reflects the university’s continued commitment to integrity, accountability, and excellence in managing public funds.

He commended the Finance and Accounting Unit, led by Finance Director John Erwin Panlilio and Accounting Head Ryan Ronquillo, for their professionalism and dedication to transparent financial practices.

The AGAP award is based on nominations and evaluations by the Commission on Audit (COA) and the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), using a balanced rating system that measures both financial reporting quality and overall performance.
