THE SILLIMAN University has been officially recognized by the Commission on Higher Education as a Delivering Higher Education Institution for the Scholarships for Staff and Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program.

With the recognition, SU is mandated to offer nine graduate programs under CHED’s SIKAP in Negros Oriental.

The programs include Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology (Clinical Psychology), Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing, Doctor of Philosophy in Education (Administration), Doctor of Philosophy in Education (Research and Evaluation), and Doctor of Education in Administration.

Also included are Master of Arts in Education (Educational Management), Master of Arts in Education (Guidance Counseling), Master of Arts in Education (Educational Technology), and Master of Arts in Psychology with majors in Counseling Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and Social and Community Psychology.

CHED said the SIKAP program enables qualified faculty and staff from Higher Education Institutions to pursue Master’s or Doctoral studies.

The scholarships cover tuition, stipends, and allowances for research, books, and learning resources.
