PRINCIPAL WHO ORDERED REMOVAL OF TOGAS DURING GRADUATION CEREMONY RELIEVED FROM POST
THE PRINCIPAL of a school in Antique who ordered students to remove their togas during a graduation ceremony has been removed from her post, according to Palace Press Officer Claire Castro.
Castro clarified, however, that the principal was only relieved from her administrative post, and her license to teach remains intact.
In a video that went viral online, the principal was seen abruptly halting the senior high school graduation ceremony and instructing the students to remove their togas, allegedly in violation of the Department of Education’s “no collection” policy.
