KABABAIHAN PARTYLIST CLIMBS FAST IN PRE-ELECTION POLLS

24 April 2025

LESS than a month before the elections, Kababaihan Partylist is gaining momentum in recent pre-election surveys—signaling growing public support for its women-centered legislative agenda.

In the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey commissioned by the Stratbase Group, conducted from April 11 to 15, Kababaihan made a notable leap in voter preference rankings. Based on face-to-face interviews with 1,800 registered voters aged 18 and above—with 300 respondents each from Metro Manila, the Visayas, and Mindanao, and 900 from Balance Luzon—Kababaihan climbed from rank 103–104 last month to rank 95–99 this month.

In the latest WR Numero survey conducted from March 31 to April 7, Kababaihan Party-list placed 26th with 1.1% of votes. The nationwide, face-to-face survey covered 1,894 registered voters and had a ±2% margin of error at a 95% confidence level.

Meanwhile, the non-commissioned “Boses ng Bayan” survey by RPMD Foundation, conducted from March 25 to 31, showed Kababaihan Party-list breaking into the top 20 with 2.16% of votes. The survey involved 5,000 randomly selected respondents nationwide, with a ±1% margin of error.

The strong performance in both polls reflects Kababaihan Party-list’s growing grassroots presence and resonant advocacy, led by first nominee and Quezon City 3rd District Councilor Kate Coseteng.

The party-list champions progressive measures including the passage of the Divorce Bill, a Microfinance Law for women, safe spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community, and stable livelihood programs for marginalized women.

Kababaihan has been actively going around the country to connect with local communities, amplifying its message of inclusion and representation, and positioning itself as the voice of women and underrepresented sectors in Congress.
