PUP, JOBSTREET PH STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIP FOR EDUCATION ON WHEELS
THE POLYTECHNIC University of the Philippines and JobStreet Philippines marked a significant milestone with the official turnover of school supplies for Education on Wheels last month.
JobStreet Philippines donated 400 ballpens, 280 notebooks, and 140 tote bags to support EOW students, reinforcing its commitment to helping underprivileged learners complete their education.
PUP President Dr. Manuel M. Muhi expressed gratitude for JobStreet’s generosity and emphasized the university’s dedication to expanding the partnership to reach more communities.
“Makakaasa po kayo na kaisa ninyo ang Sintang Paaralan para sa pagpapalaki ng partnership na ito dahil ito po ay napakahalaga para sa tagumpay nito,” Muhi said.
“Buong-buo po ang aming dedikasyon para rito dahil naniniwala kami na ang mga collaborations na kagaya nito ang susi upang mas marami pa tayong maabot at matulungan na komunidad,” he added.
JobStreet Head of Marketing Joey Yusingco highlighted the company’s motivation behind supporting EOW, stressing the importance of making quality education accessible to marginalized Filipinos.
PUP Open University Executive Director Guillermo Bernabe acknowledged the program’s transformative impact, noting the remarkable growth of EOW students who never imagined becoming part of PUP.
Key PUP officials, including Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Tomas Testor and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Emanuel C. De Guzman, attended the event and toured the EOW mobile classrooms.
