TSU QUALIFIES FOR PRICE MEDIA LAW MOOT COURT INT’L ROUNDS
LAW students from Tarlac State University secured a spot in the prestigious Price Media Law Moot Court International Rounds after placing fifth in the Asia-Pacific rounds held last week.
As first-time participants, the SOL Moot and Debate Society will now advance to the international rounds in Oxford, England, scheduled for April 2025.
Second-year law student Angelika G. Alingog was recognized as the 8th Best Speaker in the regional rounds.
The team’s speakers include Dariane G. Odon, Lloyd Hero B. Abuan, Angelo F. Cabilbil, Kathleen Elysse D. Corpuz, and Lumiere Iris C. Garrido.
Supporting the team’s research efforts were Jericho N. Pascual, Khalifa Mark R. Balmores, and Ma. Virjeanette D. Espiritu.
The team is coached by Atty. Vivien Claire Coleen Yalung and supervised by SOL Dean Dr. Jose I. dela Rama, Jr.
TSU-SOL will join top-performing law schools from the Asia-Pacific region, including Singapore Management University, University of International Business and Economics, University of the Philippines, Peking University School of Transnational Law, National University of Singapore, and Jose Maria College, in the international rounds.
