UA&P PARTNERS WITH FAST LOGISTICS, AF PAYMENTS INC.

/ 30 January 2025

THE INDUSTRIAL Engineering Program of the University of Asia and the Pacific has officially launched collaborations with industry leaders FAST Logistics and AF Payments Inc.

Kick-off meetings in January 2025 followed the recent signing of separate memoranda of agreement between UA&P and each company.

These agreements mark the beginning of a six-month scoping study aimed at analyzing business needs, challenges, and opportunities for research, internships, and educational training.

The primary goal of the study is “to identify key areas of collaboration that could serve as the foundation for long-term strategic partnerships between UA&P and its industry partners.”

FAST Logistics, a leading provider of supply chain solutions, and AFPI, the operator of the beep card payment system, bring extensive expertise to the initiative.

“Through the scoping study, UA&P’s Industrial Engineering faculty and students will have the opportunity to engage with real-world challenges and contribute to innovative solutions,” the school said.

“The results of the scoping study, to be completed by mid-2025, are expected to pave the way for comprehensive projects and programs that strengthen UA&P’s ties with industry and further its mission of producing impactful, research-driven outcomes,” it added.
