CENTRO Escolar University has been honored once again as a Teacher Education Center of Excellence by the Teacher Education Council.

The citation is effective from November 2024 to November 2025.

The recognition was announced during the signing of the memorandum of agreement for Project RITE and the awarding of Teacher Education Centers of Excellence last month at the DepEd Central Office.

CEU President and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Ma. Cristina D. Padolina, along with School of Education, Liberal Arts, Music, and Social Work Dean Dr. Maria Rita D. Lucas, attended the event to receive the award, underscoring CEU’s commitment to shaping future educators.

CEU’s SELAMS offers a diverse range of programs aimed at developing well-rounded teaching professionals.

These include Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Special Needs Education, Bachelor of Special Needs Education with Specialization in Early Childhood Education, and Bachelor of Secondary Education Majors in English, Mathematics, and Science.
