SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga Mayor Vilma Caluag pledged to implement more programs focused on the welfare and rights of children.

Caluag emphasized the city government’s commitment to protecting children and fostering their talents and skills.

“Ang mga bata ang future natin kaya dapat lang na pagtuonan natin sila ng maraming programa. Dito sa San Fernando, meron tayong Womb to Tomb project, kung saan ipinagbubuntis palang ang bata, may programa na tayo para sa kanila,” Caluag said.

She added that the city is developing initiatives to enhance children’s health, improve education quality, and ensure comprehensive social protection.

The mayor also submitted the State of the Children’s Report to the Department of the Interior and Local Government for documentation.

The report outlines the city government’s programs and plans for children.
