THE LOCAL government unit of San Pedro, Laguna will install internet connections in public elementary and high schools, as well as the Polytechnic University of the Philippines San Pedro Campus and San Pedro City Polytechnic College.

Mayor Art Mercado emphasized that this initiative is part of their commitment to providing quality education and fostering digital inclusion.

Mercado also announced a ceremonial turnover of Starlink Internet to these institutions.

He stated that the initiative will ensure students, educators, and institutions have access to fast, reliable internet, which will enhance learning experiences and promote innovation.

“Hindi na ako kakabahan kapag magsususpend ho tayo ng face-to-face classes dahil ready na ang ating mga public schools para sa hybrid learning or online modality,” Mercado said.
