A PROFESSOR from the Centro Escolar University received the Outstanding Musical Director Award given by the Philippine LEAF Awards.

Joed Balsamo accepted the award during the 2nd edition of the award-giving body at the Metropolitan Theater.

He was recognized for his exceptional work as the musical director of “Ibarra, The Musical.”

“His innovative direction and profound musical insights played a crucial role in bringing the production to life,” CEU said.

Balsamo serves as a CEU faculty member specializing in Piano and Composition.

The Philippine LEAF Awards is dedicated to honoring Filipino individuals and organizations that push the boundaries of artistic expression and contribute significantly to the enrichment of Filipino culture, arts, and society.
