AS A MEANS of continuously building up the child protection capacity of the Department of Education personnel, the DepEd Learner Rights and Protection Office and Stairway Foundation announced the offering of the second batch of the LRPO-Stairway Child Protection E-learning Course for Educators.

The agency said the free course will officially start on May 13, 2024, and will run until June 30, 2024.

Delivered as a fully asynchronous and self-paced course, it offers ten CPD points to Licensed Professional Teachers for successful course completers.

One of the objectives of the course is to identify various offline and online child protection concerns that learners might encounter.
