TEACH FOR THE PHILIPPINES RECEIVES USD 250K
THE VISA Foundation has donated USD 250,000 to a non-stock and non-profit organization to address the learning loss in public school communities.
Recipient Teach for the Philippines organization said that the donation would help fund its national leadership and student development initiatives.
It will enable Teach for the Philippines to support communities and public school children in recovering from the pandemic-exacerbated learning loss.
“Visa Foundation is working around the world with partners to help ensure the communities where employees live and work thrive,” Visa Foundation President Graham Macmillan.
“We are proud to launch Visa Foundation Gives in the Philippines and partner with one of the leading organizations focused on uplifting young people through education.”
