THE POLYTECHNIC University of the Philippines maintained its ISO Certification for quality service to its stakeholders.

The SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. recently awarded the Certificate of Attestation to PUP to retain its ISO 9001:2015 Certification.

Marco Manalo, SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. Key Account Specialist – Planning, handed the certification to Assistant Professor Andrea Rose Rimorin, DBA, Chief of the QMS Monitoring and Evaluation Section of the Institutional Quality Management System Office last month.

PUP said it received the attestation “for completing the prescribed corrective action request procedure stated in the Annual Surveillance Audit held on November 13-15, 2023 at the Claro M. Recto Hall.”

“Having maintained the ISO 9001: 2015, one of the most recognized standards to assure products and service quality, the University commits to constantly improve itself in further developing the state of the provision of higher education, commitment to quality management, and excellent public service delivery,” the school said.

ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system. Various organizations use the standard to showcase their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
