FEU DOMINATES ANEW YMCA NAT’L CONGRESS OF COLLEGE STUDENTS FOR 22 STRAIGHT YEARS
FOR twenty-two consecutive years, the Far Eastern University has once again dominated the YMCA National Congress of College Students.
The university bagged the Outstanding Delegation Award in the 45th edition of the event after besting 38 participating colleges and universities across the Philippines.
Meanwhile, FEU student Kristine Gail Marquez claimed the most coveted position for being elected as the Speaker of the House.
For the first time, five FEU learners were elected as cluster chairpersons, claiming all five clusters.
FEU delegates also authored all five resolutions that successfully passed at the cluster level and were deliberated in the plenary.
Moreover, twelve students from FEU emerged as the Best Delegates among 428 delegates, with an additional eight receiving recognition as Outstanding Delegates in their respective commissions.
This year’s theme is “baYan1han: Young People of Today, Champions of Change.”
