VICE President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio has expressed her gratitude to the Department of Education staff for their hard work and commitment to improving the quality of education.

“Let me thank all of you for your hard work and commitment in the disposition of our functions and the realization of lasting reforms through the MATATAG Agenda,” she said during the flag ceremony on Monday.

“You are all the very reason and everyone in the field why DepEd was recently recognized as not only the top-performing agency but more importantly, the most trusted,” the Vice President added.

Duterte-Carpio also recognized them for their sacrifices to provide education to Filipino students.

“Certainly there is no big or small role in our collective efforts to promote the right of every Filipino child to a quality, equitable, culture-based, and complete basic education,” she said.

The Education Secretary also thanked them for their support in DepEd 236,000 Trees Project.

“Congratulations to everyone for being a part of this success. The work that we do demonstrates our heartfelt resolve to ensure a sustainable future where everyone, every young Filipino can thrive,” she said.
