DLSU-D LIBRARY WINS 3RD BEST RESEARCH PAPER AWARD IN PAARL
A RESEARCH of the Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo-Information Resource Center of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas was named the third best research by the Philippine Association of Academic Research Librarian.
The study titled “The Engaged Mobile Information Librarian Experience: Challenges and Opportunities for DLSU-D Library” was authored by Mae Lyn Baron, Ethel Torres, Dr. Sonia Gementiza and Mary Ann Salvador.
“EMIL is a live chat online platform and one of the University Library’s communication channels embedded in its website, to provide assistance to its clients composed of students and faculty,” DLSU-D said.
“It was introduced in the middle of the School Year 2019-2020 and was featured in one of the Strategic Communications Office’s ‘DLSU-D Cares’ campaigns,” it added.
PAARL is an association of academic and research librarians in the Philippines that upholds the profession of academic and research librarianship in the country.
It aims to articulate the concerns of academic and research librarians and their institutions, and to influence information policy development affecting the future of academic and research libraries.
