THE UNIVERSITY of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines has unveiled a new testing platform for entrance examinations.

Dubbed “USTAT 2.0,” the new qualifying examination platform will be implemented for college applicants for Academic Year 2023-2024.

It was launched on January 18 at the Performing Arts Theatre in USTP Cagayan de Oro.

The event was attended by school officials led by President Dr. Ambrosio Cultura II.

The platform is envisioned “to provide a standardized college admission test that is ready for global admission,” the university said.

The USTP has started accepting applications for incoming first year college students and transferees.
