THE TECHNOLOGICAL University of the Philippines’ Student Government called for the release of guidelines for Academic Year 2022-2023.

TUP-USG said it sent a letter to the Vice President for Academic Affairs but it has yet to receive a response.

It condemned the administration for being unresponsive on the issue.

“After the release of the Academic Calendar by the TUP Administration, students got worried because there is no assurance given whether the university will do its classes face-to-face or through online set-up,” the group said.

It added that the university announced its academic calendar without saying if students should take part in online or face-to-face classes.

“We believe that the continued avoidance of this type of call will have a significant negative impact on many students,” the group said.
