USM SUSPENDS F2F CLASSES AFTER COVID NUMBERS SPIKE
THE UNIVERSITY of Southern Mindanao has suspended for 10 days the conduct of face-to-face classes following the spike in Covid19 cases among its students.
Classes were suspended from August 17 to 26, 2022.
Students will have online classes during these dates, the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs said.
“Please be informed that considerable numbers of students tested positive. As a health measure to effectively lower the transmission of [Covid]…the mode of delivery of classes [will be] PURE ONLINE,” the OVPAA said.
“You are also directed to closely monitor the conduct of online classes, disinfection of perimeters, and monitoring of constituents for symptoms,” it added.
