1,771 SCHOOLS IN CENTRAL LUZON GET SAFETY SEAL CERTIFICATION

AT LEAST 1,764 public and 7 private schools in Central Luzon received their School Safety Assessment Tool Compliance Certificate signifying that they are deemed safe for face-to-face classes.

“The SSATCC evaluates the readiness of schools following the four indicators such as Managing School Operations, Teaching and Learning, Well-being and Protection, and Home-School Coordination,” May Eclar, DepEd Region 3 regional director, said.

“The SSATCC is an indication that our schools are prepared to implement limited face-to-face classes while waiting for the concurrence of their respective local chief executives and the improvement of the health conditions in their area,” she added.

SSATCC must be displayed at all entrance points as stated in the Regional Memorandum No. 145 s.2022.

It is valid for six months and shall be renewable subject to the continued compliance of all eligibility requirements.

“The SSATCC may be revoked through a valid complaint of willful violation of any of the minimum public health standards
