THE POLYTECHNIC University of the Philippines will soon have a new campus in Manila.

The announcement was made during the inauguration of the university’s newly renovated lagoon.

The event was attended by PUP officials led by its president, Dr. Manuel Muhi.

School officials said that the new campus — to be called PUP-Rizal campus — will rise in Lepanto, Manila. The Rizal campus will house the university’s College of Law and Institute of Technology.

Muhi and officials of the Department of Public Works and Highway recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new campus.

Muhi earlier led the inauguration of PUP’s renovated gymnasium and newly acquired buses that will be used as mobile classrooms.
