JRU RECEIVES PERMIT TO CONDUCT F2F CLASSES
THE JOSE Rizal University in Mandaluyong City has received a certificate of authority from the Commission on Higher Education to conduct limited face-to-face classes.
In the certificate, CHED said that JRU complied with the requirements for the holding of physical classes.
The certificate is effective from October 29 to the summer term in 2022.
CHED added that the certificate is subject to revocation if the university fails to maintain its strict compliance with the guidelines.
The commission said schools must have a high vaccination rate among students and teachers, retrofitted classrooms, and approval from the concerned local government unit to qualify to conduct limited physical classes.
The JRU announced on Facebook that the school will reopen for its nursing students.
However, it has yet to say when in-person classes will begin.
The Inter-Agency Task Force Against Covid19 allowed schools to conduct limited face-to-face classes in areas under Alert levels 1,2, and 3 for all courses.
