10 PUBLIC SCHOOLS EYED FOR F2F CLASSES IN CALAPAN CITY
TEN public schools in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro will be tapped in the pilot run of the limited face-to-face classes.
Mayor Arnan Panaligan said that some schools were allowed to hold in-person classes particularly for Grades 11 and 12 and some elementary schools in remote areas.
“‘Yung 7 secondary, base sa pronouncement ng DepEd ay senior high schools ang papayagan lang, hindi po lahat, which i believe tama kasi pilot lang naman ‘yan,” he said.
Schools will be inspected before the start of physical classes.
“I-inspect namin ‘yung lugar, ‘yung kwarto, at ang understanding nga, limited din ang bilang ng mga bata at limited din ang oras,” the mayor said.
He expressed hope that more schools will be allowed to conduct face-to-face classes if the pilot run proves efficient.
“Kung ok naman, kung safe maybe we can expand. Handa naman kami kung mag-face-to-face mga teacher namin marami sa kanila bakunado na,” Panaligan said.
