PRC NEEDS FORESIGHT IN CONDUCTING LICENSURE EXAMS — SENATOR
SENATOR Pia Cayetano called on the Professional Regulation Commission to apply strategic foresight in determining how to conduct licensure examinations amid the Covid19 pandemic.
Cayetano said that the PRC should come up with plans on how to ensure that board exams will continue despite the coronavirus threat.
“We are watching, awaiting and hoping that all of our educational institutions, including the PRC, will really have a clear plan on ensuring that our very valued human talents are able to fulfill their most promising future by allowing them to at least take the tests and be able to move forward and get the job that they want,” Cayetano said.
Legislators, she added, can help the PRC in coordinating with the Inter-Agency Task Force.
The PRC postponed the Licensure Examination for Teachers for the fourth time in the National Capital Region, Lucena, Romblon and Butuan.
The cancellation was announced seven days before the scheduled examination on September 26, 2021.
