/ 31 July 2021

THE UNIVERSIDAD de Zamboanga has been allowed by the Commission on Higher Education to hold limited face-to-face classes.

The university passed the ocular inspection conducted on Thursday by CHED officials led by its chairman,  Prospero de Vera III.

They inspected the school’s laboratories, Cephalomteric-Panoramic Radiograph Room, School of Dentistry, Hospitality Management facilities, Instructional Media Center, and UZ’s Happy Radio.

“I’m very impressed with what you’ve done and congratulations! I hope you’ll influence other universities on how they will do limited face-to-face,” De Vera was quoted by the school as saying.

Physical classes will be for Nursing and Medical Technology students for Academic Year 2021-2022.

Classes will be limited to specialized laboratory courses or hospital-based clinical clerkship, internships, and practicum.
