THE DEPARTMENT of Education on Thursday said that 44,102 of its personnel have been inoculated against Covid19.

In a Facebook post, DepEd said 39,749 teaching personnel and 4,263 non-teaching personnel have been vaccinated.

“As of July 26, 2021, Region 1 has the most number of respondents in the Self-Reporting for Covid19 Vaccination Tracker with 12,666 respondents. NCR comes in second with 7,166, and Region 11 is third with 5,830,” it said.

The DepEd also asked other employees to share information and the status of their vaccination as part of its planning for School Year 2021-2022.

“All 1M+ DepEd teaching and non-teaching personnel are encouraged to report their vaccination status, even those who have not yet received their first dose, through the DepEd Mobile App,” it said.

Last week, the Education department launched the DepEd Mobile App for a safer and more convenient way of consolidating vaccination status of teachers and non-teaching personnel.

The app is downloadable in the App Store for iOS and on Google Play for Android users.
