MBHTE TURNS OVER 13 CALAMITY-RESILIENT CLASSROOMS IN LANAO DEL SUR
THE BANGSAMORO’S Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education, through its Education Facilities Section, turned over 13 calamity-resilient classrooms to the Schools Division of Lanao del Sur.
MBHTE said the newly constructed classrooms were distributed to the municipalities of Piagapo, Saguiaran, Marantao and Balindong.
The recipient schools include Pindolonan Elementary School, Sapingit Primary School, Datu Caopacatan Primary School, Patpangcat 1 Primary School, Datu Calaca Municipal National High School, and Moriatao Bae Elementary School.
Zubair Guiaman, EFS officer-in-charge, said the projects were completed because of the “strong cooperation and collaboration” between the Islamic and Secular Scholars, leaders, business sector and mass people.
The MBHTE said the project was subsidized under the 2018 Basic Educational Facilities Fund with technical support from Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
“The Philippine Business for Social Progress was in support to the 12-point priority agenda of the education ministry towards promoting accessibility of quality education and developing schools as a safe space for learning and development,” MBHTE said.
“The symbolic keys of responsibility were given to the respective school heads. Also in the event were MP Marjanie Macasalong of Bangsamoro Youth Commission, LDS 1 Focal Person Dr. Mombao Abdul, representatives from the MBHTE Office of the Minister and EFS, and LDS Local Government Officials,” it said.
