MARIANO MARCOS STATE U SET TO VACCINATE 1,000 EMPLOYEES
EMPLOYEES of the Mariano Marcos State University in Batac City, Ilocos Norte will get their first dose of vaccine against Covid19 on Thursday, June 17.
MMSU President Shirley Agrupis said that the Department of Health and Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and the Medical Center committed to vaccinate 1,000 university employees.
The inoculation will be a “big step towards becoming a truly Covid-resilient university,” she said.
The members of the MMSU’s Covid19 vaccination team attended the Resbakuna orientation and coaching held at the Teatro Ilocandia on June 15.
Hospital officials oriented the team on microplanning, Covid19 vaccine, waste management plan, profiling and data management, counseling, screening, vaccination, and managing adverse events after immunization.
The MMSU’s inoculation team is composed of personnel from the College of Medicine, College of Health Science, and the Health and Wellness Services Directorate.
