ADAMSON U STUDENTS APPEAL FOR HOLY WEEK BREAK
Student groups and organizations in Adamson University pressed their appeal for a Holy Week break from March 29 to April 4.
In a statement, the groups called for a breather from the “adversities and challenges brought by the pandemic and virtual academic learning.”
“Holy Week break is essential as it will help our fellow students to recover from mental and physical exhaustion caused by the demands of academic learning’s synchronous and asynchronous activities,” they said.
“We would like to call on the Adamson University administration’s attention to consider our plea for Holy Week break,” the groups added.
They also sought time to reflect and have time with their families as the country pauses to remember Jesus Christ’s sacrifices.
“For this purpose, the Unity Statement symbolizes our student leaders’ one voice as representatives of the student community. We will stand firm with our fellow Adamsonians,” the groups said.
