PALAWAN STATE UNIVERSITY LOCKS DOWN 2 CAMPUSES
THE PALAWAN State University locked down its main campus and that in Manalo in Puerto Princesa.
The lockdown order took effect on February 11, 2021.
The measure was taken to help curb the spread of the coronavirus disease in its campuses following a spike in Covid19 cases in Palawan.
The university suspended physical transactions until further notice.
“This includes ALL face-to-face transactions. Online transactions will be ongoing,” it said on Facebook.
“During this period, precautionary measures such as disinfection and setting up of needed Covid19 prevention equipment and facilities will be undertaken to prevent contamination and spread of virus within the campuses,” it added.
The university said it will adopt a work-from-home scheme for its employees.
