THE OFFICE of the Student Affairs and Guidance Office of the Northwestern University in Laoag City held a webinar to stir awareness on the rights of indigenous people.

The four-day webinar series titled  E-KUMUSTAHAN: “Kalinga, Kamalayan at Karapatan para sa Katutubo” will run from December 11 to 15.

Topics include care for the students, awareness on Indigenous People and the rights of the people.

The webinar aims to help students be more aware of their community and rights.

“These discussions are proposed to share more information about digital technology, mental health, futures literacy, Covid19, indigenous communities, intercultural exchange programs and people’s rights,” the school said in a post.
