When Korean drama It’s Okay to Not Be Okay premiered last June, it garnered a rating of 6.1 percent in South Korea alone. The series, which was written by Jo Yong and directed by Park Shin-Woo, follows the story of Moon Gang-Tae (portrayed by Kim Soo-Hyun) who lives with his autistic older brother Moon Sang-Tae (portrayed by Oh Jung-Se).

The siblings frequently move from town to town, forcing Gang Tae to take up jobs as a caretaker in a psychiatric ward at every place they settle in. Gang Tae then met children’s book writer Ko Moon-Young (portrayed by Seo Ye-Ji) and the two developed a romantic relationship throughout the show.
